For check: I’m going to (whatever your going to buy with it). Each time I see it, I will think of you! For donation: The (cause) is such an important cause. Thank you, again, for such a meaningful gift.
Note for a tangible gift:
Dear ____,
I love the _____. It is the perfect gift for me. I can’t wait to (use it, wear it, put it on display . . .). Each time I see (or wear) it, I will think of you! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!
